Objective:
As Colgate Palmolives Category Finance, you will maintain the organizations budget and database for tracking,
analyzing and reporting the Profit and Loss Statement, and ensuring alignment with company strategies and financial
objectives. Youll also be responsible for the financial health and strategy of our brands by preparing, analyzing and
overseeing the companys category financial statements, assuring actualized and precise information available to
business partners, allowing for the sound decision making for the business.
Youll be responsible for:
* Budget Management : You will be responsible for managing the corporate budget process for annual budget and
monthly/quarterly forecasts. This will include coordinating plans and forecasts between Supply Chain, Sales and
Marketing, analyzing variances vs budget/forecast and identifying potential risks, and opportunities to the P and L. This will
include preparing the profit and loss statement, actual reporting, providing recommendations for cost savings and
process improvement.
* Strategy and Profitability : Championing Strategic planning to assure Brand health and profitability across all
subsidiaries and retail environments at all stages (short, mid and long term). Providing visibility to all cross functional
teams of possible cost increments, Price risks / opportunities, Optimal Product Mix analysis.
* Business Collaboration : Partnering with Supply Chain and Operations team to provide financial analysis and insights.
Providing adequate visibility of business results and insights to Leadership team.
* Advertising Management : Championing advertising investment management across all brands, to assure effective
investment strategies.
* Continuous Improvement : Developing and continually improving processes through consistent and standardized set
of financial analysis, models, tools and performance measurement to make information gathering and analysis more
efficient and effective.
Requirements:
* Business Degree in Accounting/Finance / Business Administration
* Proven work experience in a finance business support role with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, standard costing,
and financial analysis in consumer goods industry
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced knowledge of Excel (including Pivot Tables, vlookup, filters)
* Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
* Results oriented team player with demonstrated financial, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
* Desire and ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* English Proficient
Desirable:
* SAP Experience
* Google Suite advanced knowledge (Managing Google Sheets and Slides)
