EDRL 627 - Designing, Developing, and Evaluating Effective Literacy Programs

The School of Education at California State University San Marcos is currently seeking a part-time lecturer to teach EDRL 627: Designing, Developing, and Evaluating Effective Literacy Programs. This online, asynchronous course will run for an 8-week session from April 2025 to June 2025.
Course Description
Prepares teachers to evaluate, design, develop and implement reading programs at the school and district level. Prepares teachers for the various roles of teacher and diagnostician, intervention provider, curriculum designer, professional developer, coach/mentor/supervisor, literacy program evaluator, action researcher, and literacy leader, all necessary to become a reading specialist and literacy coach.
Minimum qualifications:
A master's degree in the area of Literacy or a closely related field.

Preferred qualifications:
A doctorate in Literacy or a related field.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in systemic data analysis and program review.

Salary commensurate with degree level and experience
Anticipated?Hiring Salary Range:$5,007 - $6,359 per full-time month
CSU Classification Salary Range:$5,007 - $12,594 per full-time month
