Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
· 8+ years’ experience implementing tiene muy construction quality control
· Conversational & written English (90%+ fluent)
· High level of organization
· Strong interpersonal skills
· NEC Certificate
· Journeyman Electrician
· Perform daily follow-up inspections for all on-going electrical and telecomm work
· Complete daily report of field activities and report document’s compliance with specifications or deviations
from the project requirements
· Document deficiencies in the work on the project site
· Perform and observe testing associated with Electrical and Telecomm disciplines
· Review Electrical and Telecommunications submittals for accuracy and completeness
· Review shop drawings and coordination drawings for accuracy and completeness
· Participate in Preparatory and Initial Phase Inspection Meetings, weekly staff and QC meetings
· Develop and manage QC inspection and test procedures and instructions
· Manage the control, indexing and maintenance of all project QC procedures, instructions, records and
documents
· Manage the logging, distribution, control and filing of all technical documents and changes to them, assuring
all obsolete documents are recalled
· Evaluate quality control activities, records and documentation, reporting, quality trends and implement
corrective actions
· Monitor QC facilities and activities assuring compliance with test procedure requirements.
· Manage all aspects of all quality control to insure compliance with the project specifications
· Perform constructability reviews of construction documents during the design phase
· Works with factory test representatives to insure proper start-up and commissioning of equipment
· Issues notices of non-compliance for work which fails to meet the specification criteria, and manages the list
until all activities are completed
· Prepare the punch-list in conjunction with the client and manages the list until all activities are completed
· Review submittal data and reviewer’s comments to insure that all comments have been incorporated into the
final “For Field Use” submittals
