Finance Manager

Nonprofit Niños de Guatemala (NDG) is looking for a Finance Manager for both the nonprofit and its social business financial operations. This person willplay an important role in the daily operations of the organization. He/she will be assisted by a local accountant and, as a manager, will be charged with ensuring the organization manages its finances according to the known norms of financial administration and ethics.

Niños de Guatemala operates three schools in the communities of Ciudad Vieja and San Lorenzo el Cubo. Our offices are based in Antigua, Guatemala. NDG is an organization that finds itself in a phase of rapid growth, and is in the process of professionalizing administrative and financial processes.

Job responsibilities:

- Assist in the daily management of administrative affairs of the nonprofit
- Coordinate the cohesion and collaboration of the Sponsorship, Fundraising and Social Business teams
- Supervise all the tasks of the Accounting Department
- Produce adequate financial reports, realizing analysis, and use the information so that the manager can take the right decisions
- Convene planning meetings and financial analysis meetings
- Provide the communications department with needed information for the quarterly, annual and adhoc reports

Requirements:

- +4 years of experience in finance and project administration
- University studies in compatible career (Business Administration, Auditoría, Economics, or similar)
- English proficiency level B2-C1 (Advanced)
- Clear and efficient communications skills
- Advanced social skills
- Knowledge of accounting procedures in Guatemala and Guatemalan fiscal law
- Working knowledge and skill in the use of Quickbooks Pro
