Working as Cojolya's Communications & Development Coordinator is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for anyone passionate about women's issues and the arts in Latin America. As the primary Communicator at the Association, you serve as the primary translator and lead in digital platforms. From writing reports for donors on our social programming to writing fundraisers to managing our website to advertising new textiles on social media, this job provides excellent experience from both a development and marketing perspective in our small and collaborative office. We are looking for a creative, positive, and organized candidate with excellent interpersonal skills to help Cojolya communicate its mission and stories to a broader, international audience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Development
-Fundraising
-Grantwriting
-Research on potential foundations and fundraising platforms
-New donor and returning donor outreach
-Program development for grants and fundraisers
-Annual reports
-Effectively articulate the financial needs of the organization and communicate our mission
Marketing/Communications
-Run all social media accounts
-Creating original content to promote the association on a variety of platforms
-Act as the initial contact for clients, potential clients, and anyone wishing to contact the organization
-Investigate and contact possible distributors for Cojolya's products
-Update changes on website
-Promote new products and social program development
-Supervise and produce reports on sales from our online store in order to manage international inventory
-Seeking opportunities for Cojolya to participate in trade fairs and other international sales platforms
-Write monthly newsletters
Requirements:
-Intermediate Spanish
-Experience in social media and/or marketing
-Photography and/or design skills preferred
-Excellent writing abilities
-Passion for women's arts and women's issues
-Fundraising, grantwriting, or community engagement skills are a plus
