JOB DESCRIPTION
Support end to end material development process from concept to bulk, enabling innovation, productivity, efficiency and quality
Execute counter developments or new developments based on customer requirements, with a continuous customer follow up
Drive risk assessment analysis and proactively identify issues prior to bulk
Test and track developments working with internal and external 3
rd
party testing labs, making recommendations for resolutions.
Monitor WIP, create and maintain tracking for all material related record keeping data, weekly reports, and customer feedback
Partner with Product and Brand manager to identify opportunities within the process to increase speed, efficiency, and quality
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Industrial Engineering, or manufacturing related field.
3-5 years of experience in related field with a strong technical knowledge gained in textile manufacturing/retail in raw material process.
Experience working with off-shore customers.
Experience visiting mills and factories.
Understanding of AATCC and ASTM industry test methods.
Ability to communicate verbally and written in a clear, concise manner (English proficient is a must).
Proficient in PLM system, database, MS Office Application, 3D development is a plus.
Valid U.S. Visa
Availability to work in Palín, Escuintla.
