Work as part of the Software Automation Engineering team whose focus is development maintenance of automation frameworks for various products. Setting up the testenvironments, writing automatedperformance test cases, contributing to the continuousimprovement of our automation and performance testing frameworks.Core ResponsibilitiesImplements test automation for regression and progression scenarios that allow fora repeatable and reliable testing frameworkIdentifies and documents defects in the all environments, and drives them toresolutionReviews test automation code written by other team membersFollows the teams best practices and coding standardsPerforms ondemand and ad hoc manualautomated testing as neededRequests and prepares test data for all environments to support the implementationof test scenariosValidates Production deployment changes and reports on issues foundReports out on automated test results on a daily basisPerforms manual testing of platform features that cannot be tested in an automatedfashionInterfaces with members of the CIMA team to ensure that test scenarios areappropriate and test coverage is completeRegular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights andweekends, variable schedules as necessaryOther duties and responsibilities as assignedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsRequired SkillsBachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field3 years of experience in Automation EngineeringProven experience in building maintaining an automation framework usingSeleniumStrong experience using Java, Javascript or PythonExperience in testing Front End portal with emphasis on usabilitycustomerexperienceExperience in designing test plans and test cases according to requirements.Extensive experience writing functional test automation scripts for Web applicationsand Web services REST and SOAPbasedProven experience working with Git, Maven, Gherkin, Selenium, and Web ServicesPostman or soapUIDesirable SkillsKnowledge of, and experience working with, OAuth 2.0Experience working with Linux, bash scripting, and IntelliJ IDEAFamiliarity with Agile methodologies ScrumKanbanDevOps
