TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
Oversee seed processing to align with R&D objectives, focusing on seed extraction, treatments, drying, and storage.
Quality and Process improvement: Design and implement KPIs to understand and monitor seed quality factors, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Analyze data and workflows to identify improvement areas, driving continuous enhancement and implementing best practices.
Project Management: Develop and manage project timelines and resources effectively to achieve production goals.
Process coordination and communication: Coordinate activities among teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and clear communication, translating technical information for non-technical staff to foster collaboration.
Innovative Solutions: Use creative thinking to develop innovative solutions that improve seed production efficiency in terms of quantity, quality, and timing.
Leverage Data & Digital: Focus on digital approaches to make data- driven decisions and achieve operational excellence.
Communication and network: Foster connections within and across global teams and sites by leveraging knowledge shared among similar roles in different locations.
Optimize knowledge sharing and learning to accelerate problem-solving, while also providing coaching to help team members grow and adapt to challenges.
WHO YOU ARE
Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Plant Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Agribusiness or seed processing Experiences and Skills.
Proven experience in seed production or a similar role within an R&D or Product Supply environment. Background in designing and implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for quality monitoring, continuous improvement + design, development and deployment of best practices.
Experience in fostering connections and knowledge sharing across global teams and locations.
Advanced Englis level.
Strong ability to analyze data and identify trends for process improvement, using digital tools and analytics to support decision- making and operational excellence.
Strong and effective communication skills, with the ability to listen attentively and empathetically to understand the needs, concerns, and perspectives of the team, building relationships and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
Creative thinking to develop innovative solutions.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods in your area of expertise.
Results oriented with strong drive for continuous improvement, effective use of technology and innovations to create a competitive advantage.
Seed processing, Inventory management and Logistics experience/background.
Lean six sigma certification is a plus.
Background in Production Systems is a plus.
