**Responsibilities:**
+ Design, implement, test and maintain business-critical applications providing RESTful API access to middle layer resources
+ Help identify and fix performance, scalability, security, and reliability issues in a time critical environment so our customers can always use our services safely
+ Find creative solutions for complex features that fit into a growing ecosystem of interacting applications and APIs
+ Manage the full application lifecycle from design to successful operation in production
+ Produce well-tested code, including unit tests and integration tests, so we can release changes with confidence
+ Understand and support priorities of multiple teams that use our APIs to facilitate their success
+ Collaborate with other engineers, managers, QA and operations to ensure that our systems meet our reliability and performance goals
+ Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the intellectual curiosity that drives a desire to understand the problem
+ Learn about downstream API’s to accurately integrate with them
**Qualifications:**
+ 3+ years of experience in software development
+ Must be fluent in written and verbal English in a professional environment
+ Experience with writing and consuming REST APIs with Node.js, and either Express or Hapi.js frameworks
+ Experience with Agile development and knowledge of Agile principles
+ Excels at Code Review and other collaborative processes, such as Pair Programming
+ Enjoy coding every day, and a desire for continued learning
+ Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure successful collaborations with multiple teams
+ Experience with tools like
+ Unix command line
+ Git
+ Docker
+ Nice to have qualifications include experience with Java, GraphQL, SQL, and Jira
**Education:**
+ BS in Computer Science, or equivalent working knowledge
