CS 111: COMPUTER SCIENCE IPosition:Lecturer - Academic YearSemester:Fall 2024Day/Time:Varies (multiple sections)Modality:In-PersonCollege:CSTEM - College of Science, Technology, Engineering and MathematicsDepartment:Computer ScienceThe Department of Computer Science at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2024 to teach CS 111: Computer Science I Lab.Course DescriptionIntroduces computer science and computational thinking through a modern programming language. Includes fundamental programming structures and problem solving skills to support the organization and manipulation of numeric and text data.Minimum qualifications:A master's degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fieldsPer the California State University's Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California.
