Job OverviewUnder the general supervision of the Associate Dean and the Head of Special Collections (SC), the position oversees the functional areas of organizing, processing, and collection management for the Library's collection of North San Diego County unique and rare resources related to cultural heritage and history as well as University Archives. This position also provides office support, and lead work direction for student assistants.Position SummaryLibrary Services Specialist – Special Collections (Library Services Specialist II)This is a full time, non-exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave.
