Job OverviewUnder general direction of the Associate Dean of the College of Education, Health and Human Services (CEHHS) and in conjunction with the Director for the School of Education (SOE), this position coordinates the day-to-day operations of the SOE and provides a wide range of budgetary, programmatic, and administrative support to the Director for the SOE to include fiscal planning, preparing correspondence, budget reports and spreadsheets. The position also independently coordinates a variety of functions critical to SOE operations and takes lead responsibility for various project-related operations from planning to project completion and evaluation. Leads and coordinates work of ASC I staff and student assistants, maintains filing systems and databases, and communicates with community members in support of SOE programs. This position works closely with the Budget Analyst in the Dean's office for budget and purchasing matters.Position SummarySchool of Education Administrative Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator II)This is a full time, non-exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave.
